Next-Generation Sequencing allows scientists, analysts, and geneticists to process millions of fragments of DNA simultaneously. Its accuracy and efficiency allow for far reaching applications, from medical research and personalized medicine, to oncology, forensic testing, non-invasive prenatal testing, transcriptomics, and beyond—with many new applications still being explored.
